About the Role: As a Customer Services Supervisor, you will work as part of a team supporting all aspects of the business. The supervisor will assist the Manager in organising the work flow and taking care of our customers when they make contact and are responsible for upholding the company’s core values. You will be responsible for ensuring that all our KPI targets are met and for providing excellent customer service. We handle online queries and an inbound call centre. Responding to customers queries in a professional and caring manner is our priority. You will adhere to FCA regulations and ensure you are providing a first-class service within the regulatory framework. The role requires excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills, the ability to work under pressure and to your own initiative, but does deliver great job satisfaction, when satisfied customers name you personally as their point of contact or on our reviews. About You: We are looking for a person that has had experience in the travel insurance industry for a minimum of 2 years. Someone who enjoys working as part of a team, helpful, confident, articulate and who is an excellent communicator. Excellent organisational skills Natural sales ability Confident computer usage knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel at intermediate level You must be enthusiastic, pro-active and self-motivated with a willingness to learn Strong Customer Services skills Travel Insurance experience is necessary however exceptional candidates with an insurance background will also be considered as we will provide a comprehensive training. You’ll use your excellent communication skills to motivate colleagues and support the sales growth of the company. You need to be able to connect effectively with customers and understand their needs. You must be well organised and have a methodical approach to your work. Able to work to deadlines and have an excellent telephone manner. Responsibilities include: Ensure that all inbound calls are handled in accordance with the business requirements. Provide high quality telephone based advice, quotations and sales support to both new and existing customers. Process correspondence, renewals, pre-renewal activities and mid term adjustments through computerised system in accordance with procedures. Achieve set business service levels. Ensure accuracy of policy documentation. Work closely with colleagues within the team and coordinate knowledge and support. Monitor customer care calls and voicemail messages left by customers. Submit online travel quotations (data entry) and complete purchases over the telephone. Maintain client databases. General office administration / duties.
