Overview
Job Responsibilities This person will be responsible to: Execute Configuration Management processes, procedures, and methodologies based upon ITIL principles Work with technology teams and data consumers to ensure Configuration Items (CI’s) are entered and maintained in the CMDB and IT Asset Management systems Reconcile the CMDB data when exceptions are noted between CMDB, discovery information, and other authoritative data repositories for configuration items Support design, development, and implementation of automated processes for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data Provide recommendations and input to existing or new processes to improve the effectiveness of Configuration Management Identify and track issues and risks to closure while maintaining communication with data consumers Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience with data analysis and maintenance of Configuration items Experience with ServiceNow CMDB or BMC Remedy CMDB Knowledge of ServiceNow Service Management modules Understanding of IT Service Management processes based on ITIL v3 Experience in asset and configuration item identification, baseline, relationship mapping, CMDB administration Experience · Continue to drive completeness of BMC Discovery and Snow Software Asset Management penetration across the estate. · Continue data quality improvement activities for CMDB · - roll-out ServiceNow Data Certification · - Business Service Catalogue data review and refresh · Deliver stakeholder process and tooling training workshops. · Continue Business Service Mapping activities with current workstream for Capital Markets Resilience Programme. · Oversea on-boarding on new SAM partner. · Support in-flight programmes for SACM activities for Data Centre Exit and End of Life Programme.
