Overview
Cedar are partnering with one of the UK's largest retailers who are in need of a commercially driven Senior Finance Analyst for an initial period of 6 months on a fixed term basis. This role encompasses all elements of finance with a particular focus on analysis to aid key strategic key decision making. Key responsibilities: Challenge the product teams on sales and performance around net income Conduct a deep dive analysis making recommendations for various areas Variance analysis for month end working closely with the Financial Control team Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process Take full ownership of the P&L and present key findings to key stakeholders Business partner with the senior leadership team Prepare and assist with the business modelling process Investigate and present business cases for investment opportunities Ad-hoc requirements where necessary Key requirements: Relevant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Significant experience in a commercial finance environment is key Working across multiple products and programmes Strong systems experience (SAP or Anaplan) This role supports the Head of Finance of the division and partners with multiple senior stakeholders across the business. You will have done a similar role and have the ability to hit the ground running. Your analysis and investigative skills will be put to the test as you will be expected to challenge senior stakeholders in aiding commercial decision making.
