The Opportunity This is an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Network Presales Architect to join a prestigious telecommunications providers that specialise in designing and implementing fixed network solutions. This Network Presales Architect will be on a home based, permanent contract with travel to client site in Central England (Essex, Northampton, Cambridge, Suffolk and Birmingham) The Role The Network Presales Architect will be required to work with customers on networking requirements that are tailored to meet their specific needs; this will include conducting High Level Designs, pricing and preparing bids. Create and own technical designs - HLD/network diagrams Contribute towards RFI/RFP responses Build relationships with new and existing customers - information gathering on their requirements Identify technical issues, create solutions and manage through to completion Act as a technical lead for customer requirements Key Skills/Experiences Needed Proven experience in a similar role, working for a telecommunications/Managed Service Provider Excellent understanding of: Ethernet switching, IP Routing, Security, Wi-Fi, cloud connectivity, access technologies and hardware solutions Proven HLD experiences in Fixed Networking Solutions Solid understanding of Government security standards and procurement routes Strong communications skills - must be able to articulate technical solutions to a wide range of audiences Strong commercial acumen Permanent Based: Home based contract - travel requirements to Essex, Northampton, Cambridge, Suffolk and Birmingham Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 car allowance and benefits If this Network Presales Architect role is of interest, please send your CV in for review This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89829355
