AL171 – Installation Engineer Location: Huntingdon Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Security Installation and Service Engineer for our client based in the Cambridge area. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to join a rapidly growing security solutions company The role of the Security Installation and Service Engineer is to Installation, maintain and Servicing CCTV, Access Control, ANPR, Automatic Barriers Bollards and Gates, Fence Detection Systems and other security products This role would suit ex-military candidates and applications from former service personnel are encouraged. Duties and Responsibilities: • To carry out installation, maintenance and servicing of Intruder, Access and CCTV. Systems. • To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the Access & Security Systems. • To co-ordinate initial actions associated with all requests from the client. • To co-ordinate visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with Access & Security Systems aspects of installations. • Manage workload and prioritise jobs appropriately. • To provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required. • To undertake miscellaneous duties as requested by the Client. Skills and Qualifications: • CSCS and IPAF Qualification • Security Apprenticeship (or recognised equivalent) • Installation, maintenance or service experience • Health and Safety Awareness/ Qualification. • Ideally have knowledge / training in IT, LAN Electrical & electronic System. • Candidates must be willing to undertake necessary training for CPD and regulatory requirements (if necessary). • Risk Management experience. • Customer Awareness.
