Installation Operative Jointer - Street Lighting

We are looking for an Installation Operative Jointer to join our Street Lighting team on-site in Gloucester. Working within our Street Lighting team, you will undertake tasks of installation of illuminated street furniture and connection and disconnection of electrical equipment to the electrical distribution network, being the lead person for jointing on the site. The role is based from Skanska's central Street Lighting Depot in Gloucestershire, with travel to other sites as required. You'll: * Install and remove illuminated Street furniture * Joint cables/ plant to the electrical network * Complete all relevant testing before and after jointing * Work to Skanska Distribution Safety Rules * Be able to joint Electrical Cables Low Voltage * Assist in the delivery of plant, equipment and materials to the clients specification We're looking for: * City & Guilds in electrical engineering * Experience working within a Street Lighting environment * HERS registration * ECS or CSCS Card * NRSWA Operatives Card * DNO Electrical Authorisation for cable jointing * Knowledge of DNO Policies and Procedures Our infrastructure services team delivers projects that maintain and enhance the built environment.
