Certification Engineering Manager Leighton Buzzard (free parking on site) Permanent role £55,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience) Flexi working hours with an early finish of 1PM on a Friday (core hours 9:00AM - 4:00PM) An exciting opportunity has arisen for our client who seek a Certification Engineering Manager to successful manage a team of engineers whilst working with cross functional integrated program teams to ensure delivery of projects and product launches. As the Certification Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for: Management of the daily activities whilst capacity planning for all workload within the department Supporting the development of annual department goals whilst generating plans to deliver against targets Ensuring all procedures are documented, adhered to and audited to ensure compliance Establishing visible design metrics to monitor engineering quality, productivity improvements and targets Utilise the company's performance management processes and tools to manage the engineering team Regular communication with the team to update them of project status, objectives, department and site issues Coach and mentor the team to drive performance Implement a continuously improving culture Generate team performance KPI's and report regularly to engineering management Deliver engineering data and support in customer meetings As the successful Certification Engineering Manager, you should have the following related skills and experience: Educated to a degree level in an engineering discipline Demonstrate technical and operational experience within Aerospace, Automotive, or Rail Industry Proven leadership abilities with strong technical, team and risk management skills Ability to manage and motivate an engineering department Proven experience of change management in an engineering organisation Previous experience using CatiaV5 and Team Center Orion Electrotech Ltd acts as both an Employment Business and Employment Agency and complies with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations Act 2003.
