Liverpool City Region Combines Authority have an exciting opportunity for an IT Solutions Officer to join their growing team based in Liverpool. Job Title: IT Solutions Officer (Applications Developer) Location: No1 Mann Island, L3 1BP Salary: £35,964 - £39,303 per annum Hours per week: 35 Job type: Full Time - Permanent IT Solutions Officer - The Role: Working as part of a multi-disciplined IT team, the post holder will be responsible for the development, testing, implementation and ongoing support of business solutions. The successful candidate should have demonstrable experience of building IT solutions within an IT governance framework, and maintaining solutions using modern programming tools. You will work 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 to 18:30 in accordance with the flexi-time scheme in operation within our offices in Mann Island Liverpool. Flexi-time provides the facility to take compensatory time off for additional hours worked. Holiday entitlement is 28 days per year (pro rata to service) which increases after 5 years' service. Bank holidays are in addition to the annual leave entitlement. IT Solutions Officer - We need someone who: - Has a good eye for design (UI/UX) and experience writing front end applications - Can join a small development team to create new and innovative solutions - Can translate business requirements into IT solutions - Can assist with the design, build and support of in house and 3rd party solutions - Has experience of developing software within SQL/.Net environment - Can define, document and perform system tests - Supports customer UAT including bug fixes through the development lifecycle - Can produce technical and support documentation including user guides - Implements changes in line with formal change control processes - Can build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders Experience, Qualifications, Behaviours, Skills & Competencies: Essential: Demonstrable experience in a number of the following areas: - .NET Framework - Visual Studio - Strong SQL Server experience (2012 onwards) - Windows Console Applications - IIS - HTML/CSS/Javascript - Minimum 3 years' experience of providing 3rd line support across a range of technologies Desirable: - C#.Net - Team Foundation Server - SSRS or other reporting tool - SSIS - ETL solutions - ITIL Foundation - Power BI Closing date: 27 March, 2020 4:00 pm To submit your CV for this exciting IT Solutions Officer opportunity, please click ‘Apply' now This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89827272
