Overview

A leading National Broker has an opportunity to join their Financial Institutions team as a New Business Account Handler. The role will entail providing high level professional advice to clients and prospects and administering their insurance enquiries including obtaining quotations, closing sales and cross-sales. The role will be mainly based from their office in the heart of the City, but sometimes travel to meet clients with more senior memebers of the team may be required. Key responsibilities include: Assisting in achieving new business targets Liaising with the New Business Account Director to ensure an appropriate strategy for winning new business Undertaking market exercises to establish most competitive terms available and convert prospects to clients Recording all relevant information, correspondence and documentation on Acturisor other broking system Experience of Financial Institutions insurance (whether in broking or underwriting) is highly desired for this role, however general Professional Indemnity, Directors and Officers and Cyber experience will also be considered. Being qualified to Cert CII level would be ideal, or the committment to gain this in the role and Acturis experience would be a bonus.
