Overview
Electrical and Electronic Engineering Opportunities Engineers, Senior Engineers and Principal Engineers £50,000 - £70,000 (Depending on Experience) Outstanding Benefits Package Available Relocation Packages Available We are looking for talented, motivated control and instrumentation engineers from a range of backgrounds. We are looking for you to support our on going manufacturing programmes throughout the engineering lifecycle from concept through in service support, ensuring that we deliver an effective client capability and a platform that ensures the safety. Electrical and Electronic Engineers are responsible for the design and validation of systems such as - Power Electrics, Alarms as well as Generation and Distribution. - Validation of these systems includes simulation of Electrical and Electronic Systems in Matlab/Simulink/Simscape. All roles will incorporate the following Responsibilities: - Undertaking functional design, providing specialist advice and producing evidence in support of legislative, safety and technical requirements - Liaising with internal and external customers as part of a technical team - Undertaking peer reviews - Articulating and presenting technical arguments, clearly, logically and simply Engineer: - Exercising professional engineering judgement, initiative and skill in discharging allocated tasks in a positive manner within required constraints Senior Engineer: - Coordinating and executing engineering tasks/ packages of work, providing guidance and advice in a consistent professional manner. - Taking cognisance of appropriate budget, timescale and quality standards as well as providing leadership where required Principal Engineer: - Executing, evaluating, delivering and managing complex engineering and/or cross functional tasks/ programmes of work recognising stakeholder and customer requirements. - Identifying and implementing opportunities for personal and team development to ensure that professional capability of the business and individual are maintained and improved What we're looking for in you: - You will be self-motivated and have the ability to work unsupervised and still meet tight deadlines. At the same time you will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with the wider team when required.
