Overview
Our client is an established and fast growing firm of accountants offering an exciting Audit and Accounts career opportunity at their office in Leicester. Pay scales are open and will depend entirely on experience and qualification as this role will ideally be hired at the Manager grade, but can be hired anywhere between Audit and Accounts Senior to Senior Manager level. The firm have interesting and complex clients, a successful marketing strategy which has seen tremendous growth in the last few years and the potential to promote someone quickly through the firm. The firm reward high performers and there is definite progression to a future leading role for the right person. The person they are ideally looking to recruit will be someone who will fit into the culture of the firm, with strong client facing skills and a good knowledge of technology. They will be given quite a lot of responsibility and also be required to produce accounts, tax returns, management accounts as part of their role. Typical clients they will be working on will be owner managed businesses between £4M and £60M turnover. Salary will be market rate dependent on your experience and qualifications. If you are ambitious, the firm are keen to enable your development with the chosen person able to move towards a Partner Designate position in 3-5 years' time. It could be salaried or equity in the future, but this is open for discussion. This is a genuine role/position for the right person and if you do progress, the firm could offer the chance for you to qualify as an RI (responsible individual) to sign off audit reports. This IS NOT a typical audit job either in terms of the demands or travel implied. It does of course focus on audit work but is largely Managerial with only occasional travel to clients and very sensible hours / balance plus great potential. Great offices, a vibrant office culture and management team, easily accessible location, parking, equity potential, strong salary and normal working hours with very little overtime or travel.
