Overview
Audit Accounts Manager.Leicester. £40-50K Independent firm of Chartered Accountants seeks a qualified ACA or ACCA with a General Practice background who possibly possesses partnership potential. This local firm wishes to recruit an ambitious qualified ACA or ACCA to join the existing partners and help to develop the practice. Candidates should either be qualified ACA or ACCA who are currently a Manager or Assistant Manager or Supervisor, but who's route to partnership is blocked: alternatively you might already be a salaried partner who is seeking an alternative opportunity, or a sole practitioner who wishes to merge with another firm. It has a busy audit schedule throughout the year. Its' largest audit client is a group turning over £120m and its' smallest would be a charity with income of £80k opting for a voluntary audit. The firm are looking for candidates with a mix of Accountancy and Audit experience, able to display strong audit skills in the area of owner managed businesses and the not for profit sector (probably a 50/50% split). It has invested heavily in its audit processes and training and have just come out of a very positive quality inspection. It is keen to maintain audit quality and candidates would need to be on-board with this and continue to drive standards forward. The role would be a mix of 50% Audit and 50% general accountancy services. Personal tax experience is not a requirement.
