Overview
An Audio Visual (AV) Project Manager opportunity has recently opened up for leading technology organisation with a global footprint. The role is initially a 6 month fixed term contract with the high possibility of extension paying £65000 per annum pro rata. General Position Description: Supervise the successful deployment of multiple concurrent AV projects focusing on project specific on-time performance, profitability and customer satisfaction utilising internal and external resources. Candidates must have prior AV and construction project management experience, strong business acumen, have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a dynamic customer environment. Responsibility of the projects will typically start at project award and last through the completion and customer acceptance of the completed project. Essential Duties/Responsibilities (but not limited to): Conduct site inspections as necessary to ensure build relationships, ensure site readiness, and measure project progress. Establish and manage to specific project milestones. Determine appropriate project team staffing requirements and ensure requirements are adequately met. Communicate goals, objectives, and customer expectations to project team members Participate in weekly OAC (Owner, Architect, Contractor) calls to ensure that AV scope and schedules are understood by the greater project team over the life of the project Coordinate with furniture providers to ensure that AV spaces are properly scoped and configured Conduct detailed page-turn with General and Electrical contractors to ensure that proper backing and pathways are provided, as per specifications Pro-actively communicate project status and risk to internal and external stakeholders regularly throughout the project. Create, review, validate and update site documentation, status reports, project plans, and test and acceptance plan. Monitor/measure timeliness, profitability and customer satisfaction for each project. Ensure that any changes in scope, schedule or cost are managed in accordance with the agreed change order procedures. Supervise and ensure quality implementation by internal and external resources including contracted professional services. Manage project risks to resolve jeopardy conditions adversely affecting on-time performance, profitability or customer satisfaction. As project nears completion, create cut list of outstanding work to be done in order to manage timely and mutually satisfactory project closure. Make full use of project management and financial tracking tools provided, and consistently evaluate the profitability of the projects assigned. Follow Standard Operating Procedures, create and maintain project artefacts and and follow and contribute to PM process improvement efforts. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Previous experience managing Audio Visual installation and refresh projects in existing and new construction environments 5 years of experience in project management required Knowledge of Google AV solutions a plus AV Support or Engineering experience a plus Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills Exceptional organisational and control skills PMP certification preferred Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Salary: £65000.00 /year
