Our client is seeking an experienced Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their Finance team based on the outskirts of Oxford. Client Details Our client is an impressive international business with an excellent reputation in their market, with their UK head office based on the outskirts of Oxford with parking onsite. They have grown consistently over recent years and are continuing to grow due to an upcoming acquisition. This is an excellent opportunity for any aspiring Part Qualified candidate looking to join an expanding business. Description The Management Accountant will be responsible for: Prepare management accounting information for European sites Ensure accuracy and timeliness of month end accounts including responsibility for all operating costs, accruals and prepayments The development of consistent monthly departmental cost reporting Supporting other team members with P&L and balance sheet reviews and variance analysis. Inter-company transactions and balances, including confirmations, inter-company recharges and posting of required journals. Update, maintain & reconcile fixed asset registers and ensure that correct procedures are followed for the addition and disposal of assets. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, entering journals as required. Monthly forecast and annual budget processes Prepare VAT returns Review of internal processes and systems on an ongoing basis, making recommendations to management where appropriate. Profile The successful Management Accountant will have: Bachelor's Degree and part-qualified accounting certification (CIMA, ACA, etc). Relevant experience as a management accountant / financial analyst Proven computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of using financial software ERP and consolidation applications Decisive thinker, decision maker and able to challenge superiors in professional manner Job Offer The Management Accountant can expect to earn between £30,000 and £35,000 plus a study support package.
