Financial Reporting Manager Maidenhead, Berkshire £65-70,000 bens About the Role: Based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, my client, a dynamic and progressive business looking for a qualified accountant to join their team as a Financial Reporting Manager on a permanent basis. The company has gone from strength to strength and has an excellent position in their market with a varied product portfolio and a strong pipeline for the future. The Financial Reporting Manager, a key role in the continued development of the finance team, will be responsible for the Financial Accounting, Reporting, Statutory & Control Compliance for the business. Main responsibilities of the Financial Reporting Manager: Financial control & reporting on a day to day basis Responsible for the accurate and timely IFRS based financial reporting Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial and management reporting Preparation of Statutory Accounts and compliance with local GAAP and local audits Manage reporting of financial information to Global Head Office, including budget/forecast submission and monthly reporting of performance against objectives Preparation of cash flow forecasts for the regional markets, including variance analyses to previous submissions Supporting UK management teams in understanding their financial data and performance Ensures cost effectiveness and adherence to cost budgets across the company Manage the accounting process for various transactions Provide support across the Finance department for ad-hoc analysis and project work as required The Ideal candidate for the Financial Reporting Manager: Qualified Accountant, ideally practice trained (ACA or ACCA) with a strong academic record. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels across finance and commercial teams. Strong technical accounting skills with in-depth knowledge of IFRS & local GAAP as well as controlling, risk management and taxation. Detail orientated with strong organisational skills, a team player with proven ability to work well under pressure and deadlines. Developed IT skills with excellent Excel and a strong working knowledge of a large ERP system.
