Overview
We are currently working with a national Investment Management firm to recruit for a Training and Competence Manager to join their team. The role is to create, implement and manage the Training and Competence/SMCR schemes for the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role includes oversight and assurance that the T&C schemes as operated by the firms are compliant with the requirements of any appropriate regulator. Key Skills Significant practical experience in managing training and competence schemes in a wealth management environment or similar Level 4 qualification (or higher) in wealth management, investment or financial planning In depth knowledge of current training & competence regulatory requirements/SMCR. They will have either already implemented SMCR or currently working on an implementation plan Proven ability to lead and drive the training & competence process using a pragmatic business focussed approach with a strong focus on managing risk Please do get in touch if the above role could be of interest you.
