Overview
A specialist firm based in Leeds city centre is seeking Litigation/Legal Officers keen to broaden their skills in a specialist field (salary up to £24,000 plus benefits). You will run your own caseload of unsecured government and consumer debt recovery litigation cases with a good degree of autonomy although help and advice is always available. Your duties will include: Communicating with clients, 3rd parties, debtors/customers and colleagues Provide training and mentoring support to Assistants Negotiating with debtors and 3rd parties Attend client meetings Preparing materials for court You will ideally have suitable knowledge to make an early impression probably gained in a similar department with experience of issuing County Court claims & defended actions and excellent IT skills.
