Overview
Role- Structural Engineer Salary- £30,000- £45,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you’re looking for) Type- Permanent Location- West Sussex My client design and manufacture a range of products for the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors and they are looking to take on a Structural Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the West Sussex area. The Structural Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: HND/ Degree qualified or similar in either Mechanical / Structural Engineering 2 years or more industry experience would be desirable working in a similar role Be proficient with using STAAD software for analysis and design Any exposure to using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Caesar would also be beneficial Have a high standard of analytical skills Very good attention to detail Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to liaise with other colleagues and offices Ability to work well alone as well as part of a team The Structural Engineer role will involve: Working alongside the existing design and project team Producing structural calculations and design sketches Providing steel weight estimates and also concept designs in line with company standards Structural design of components using STAAD and other software Being involved in monitoring job progress If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
