Overview
Our Newcastle based client seeks an enthusiastic IT all-rounder to join a friendly, supportive team providing 2nd/3rd line application support. The candidate will install, support, and proactively manage a large portfolio of commercial and specific applications. Tasks will include regular patching of server operating systems, application upgrades, system configuration, documentation, diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex issues, and supplier management. The successful candidate will also be deeply involved in projects such as new system implementations. Essential: ·Excellent verbal and written communication skills ·Demonstrable skills administering Microsoft Exchange ·Hands-on experience managing all aspects of server operating systems ·Wide-ranging experience providing 2nd/3rd line support ·Experience in managing relationships with 3rd party software providers ·Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Desirable: ·O365, PowerShell, Networking technologies. Candidate must have be eligible to live and work in the UK without any restrictions. Candidates must have lived and worked in the UK for a minimum of 5 years to be eligible for SC level clearance.
