Overview

The Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre is a leading structural chemistry data organisation based in Cambridge, England. We are looking for a Customer Support Coordinator who is degree qualified in a computational or biological/chemical science field or has equivalent experience to join our team. About the Customer Support Coordinator role: Reporting to the Support Team Leader you will coordinate customer support, triaging queries and dealing with customer’s licensing, technical and scientific issues. You will also liaise with second tier support staff for assistance with more complex queries and communicate responses back to the end user. About you: Essential skills: Degree qualified in a computational or biological/chemical science or equivalent Proficiency in Microsoft Office Expertise in at least two of Windows, Linux and MacOS operating systems Ability to deal confidently with people at all levels and in varied situations. Ability to deal confidently with electronic and verbal communication Ability to make decisions appropriate to level of responsibility Uses own initiative and comfortable working with limited supervision Desirable skills: Experience with providing support to end users for software application installation and/or use Experience in the use of scientific software applications for drug discovery or development Our Values: Quality, Innovation, Passion, Community, Collaboration, Integrity, Customer Centricity, Agility.
