To support the organisations daily operating function whilst ensuring company goals, legislation and quality requirements are met. Supporting the management and direction of personnel, adherence to the quality and safety programme whilst delivering the expected customer satisfaction and related financial targets. Multi-tasking, leadership, organisational and interpersonal skill sets will make up the key fundamental requirements for success in this role Skills Required The Operations Engineer must be suitably qualified to degree/higher HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering a minimum of 5 years experience in management within the MARINE INDUSTRY whilst incorporating Extensive knowledge of ships systems and maintenance/refit programs Client facing and continuous customer liaison Good working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHAS 18001 Ensuring compliance with current Quality, H&S and Waste Legislation Leadership and Organisational skills Team orientated Written and verbal communication skills, chair meetings, report writing Main Tasks To support the supervision and organisation of staffing To support the planning and management of the Engineering delivery whilst ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance to the companies quality procedures To support the administration of the daily operation, maximize profitability, provide a supportive and stimulating working environment To support the supervision, direction and control of the working team whilst driving change and enhanced performance Portsmouth location but flexible to travel This is an ideal opportunity to join a well established market leading environmental specialist with exciting growth and development opportunities across the south coast Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £33,000.00 /year This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89766846
