JavaScript Developer (Senior) – UI Developer Location: Central Leeds, Yorkshire A market leader, multi-award winning, ever expanding consultancy are looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer (UI Developer) to join them in their brand new, state of the art facility in Central Leeds (near the central station). This is a unique opportunity to work for the country’s house-hold names, on bespoke and cutting-edge projects. Key Technical Exposure: -Recent JavaScript, Angular.js, Node.js, react.js. -Knowledge of and experience in jQuery, HTML/XHTML and CSS -Computer Science or related background -Strong Object Oriented skills -Thorough understanding of the fundamentals of computing, e.g. logic, data structures, algorithms, low-level architecture, systems infrastructure, network stack, etc -Experience working in an Agile team -Experience with one or more unit test frameworks, e.g. Jasmine -Exposure to continuous integration, build tools and scripting -Use of source code version control using tools such as Git, Subversion or Mercurial -Experience in developing in a cross-browser environment Any exposure to any of the following would be a distinct advantage: -Experience of other languages such as Java, Python, PHP or C# -Experience consuming RESTful services -Git -Web Server technology such as Apache and Nginx -Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases -HTML5/CSS3 -LESS/SASS Day to day responsibilities: Successful developers will bask in the abundance of technologies available at their disposal across an array of business discipline.
