Overview
Temporary Launderette Assistant based in Pontypridd Your new company You will be working for a reputable public sector organisation based in Pontypridd Your new role You will undertake tasks within all sections of the laundry space. You will be responsible for sorting, calendars, remat (steam finishing) towel folding, ironing, washing service and operating washer extractors and presses. You will prepare laundry for internal and external customers. You will undertake any other general duties as and when required. What you'll need to succeed You will possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal. You will feel comfortable working within a physically demanding role. Previous experience working in a factory or industrial setting would be desirable but not essential. What you'll get in return You will be paid £9.30 per hour and work between 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday with the potential of extra hours on Saturday. This is a temporary assignment for initially 12 weeks with potential extension. The organisation offers on-site parking.
