Job Description
Opportunity for a multi-skilled maintenance technician with an electrical bias to join a manufacturing company who have a global presence, offer excellent earning potential and a friendly culture. As the multi-skilled maintenance technician - electrical, you will work closely with the maintenance manager and a team of other maintenance professionals. You will work a mix of 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday and will join the call out rota (1 in 5 weekends) in return for being on call you will receive an extra allowance and generous overtime rates if called in. As the multi-skilled maintenance technician - electrical bias, your duties will include: * Reacting to equipment / production breakdowns * Supporting the delivery of the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) system * Proactively establishing the root cause for any breakdowns * Conducting risk assessment before undertaking any work * Promoting a robust health and safety culture * Updating the computerised maintenance system To apply for the multi-skilled maintenance technician - electrical bias role, you will need: * Time served electrical apprenticeship in a manufacturing environment * A proven track record of carrying out multi-skilled maintenance engineering * PLC fault finding experience In return, the multi-skilled maintenance technician will receive a salary of £34,000, plus pension, private medical, potential annual bonus, and an on-call allowance.
