Overview
We are proudly representing our international manufacturing client in their search for a Master Planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for production, forecasting and capacity planning within a manufacturing facility. The Role Integrating forecast from Sales and Business Development into the demand plan Produce Master production schedule Defining the daily and weekly production plans Manage capacity planning and resources to ensure products are completed On Time In Full Maintain and update the ERP and MRP system Conduct scenario analysis and recovery plans Coordinate NPI into production and end of life planning balancing inventory Update production team on any changes or possible issues Monitor material budget and conduct material analysis Analysing and revising production plans and updating deadlines Attend daily production meetings to ensure production flow is efficient and to schedule Identify root cause of any issues and implement corrective actions Person Specification: Candidates will have prior experience working as a Master Planner within a highly complex engineering or manufacturing environment and strong knowledge of capacity planning with inventory control You will have experience managing a team of planner and using ERP/MRP tools and systems Good communication and people skills are essential and a high level of data literacy and attention to detail
