Role: Project Administrator 9-month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) Salary: Competitive & dependent on experience Location: Doncaster Our client works in partnership with their customers to achieve a secure and safe environment by delivering training, quality assurance and compliance management. The role: The Project Administrator provides comprehensive assistance to the Operations Department in the tracking and maintenance of all Projects including operational, purchasing and financial support to meet the requirements of clients to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery. Using Microsoft Project as a primary tool, the Project Administrator will assist Project Managers with the creation, maintenance and communication of project management activities and associated project reports. Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, supporting the Project Delivery Team in the delivery of the following; Creation of project plans, assigning resources to tasks Creation and collation of routine and ad-hoc project reports (internal and client focused), analysing operational and financial metrics Tracking and analysing project delivery and achievement of tasks against timescales and budget in accordance with the project plan Assist in the delivery of project related actives, including administrative support to the Project Delivery Team Creation and maintenance of project related files and records Ensuring the business systems manual (QA) processes, policies and procedure are followed Filing and archiving The ideal candidate will have the following skills: Essential: At least one years’ previous experience in project administrative role, with highly developed competence in the use of Microsoft Project Extensive IT skills, competent in Microsoft Office Packages (Outlook, Word and Excel) Desirable: Experience of working in a busy office with a strong customer service ethos with the ability to work effectively within and between teams to achieve common objectives Demonstratable strong organisational skills with a systematic approach to problem solving and prioritise efficiently, maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail A team player with a positive outlook and strong work ethic, but also able to take use initiative Adaptable to changing environments Person specification: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good interpersonal skills with a confident manner Ability to develop strong relationships Excellent time management skills Excellent communication skills The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Glu recruit are an equal opportunities employer
