Job Description

" Riverside have a new opportunity for a Project Assistant working full-time on a fixed term basis until March 2020. You will earn £18,135 per annum based on 37.5 hours per week. Your shifts will include a mix of early and late shifts, including weekends on a 7 day rota. Who you'll be helping Wharf House provides accommodation and support for single, homeless people, aged 16 or over in the Doncaster area. Our support team also have a wealth of experience working with vulnerable adults and supporting homeless people with complex support needs. You can read more about our scheme here. While Riverside does have roles for carers, this is a role perfect for those looking for support work. What will you do? Your role will be an admin based role where you will be expected to take and make phone calls, carry out administrative functions, using IT systems etc. You will also be expected to liaise with and help the residents so experience working with vulnerable groups or in a housing management/social care environment is preferred. Day to day Your responsibilities as a Project Assistant at Wharf House will include: • Acting as an initial point of reference on the phone, or in a reception area as required • Carrying out day to day office administrative functions to ensure that all records and files are maintained • Contribute to the formulation and delivery of person centred support plans • Assisting residents with day-to-day support and tenancy issues • Using IT systems appropriately including adding updates to the Support Database For a deeper understanding of your responsibilities, take a look at the job description linked below.
