The Role The position of Management Accountant will sit within the accounting function reporting to the Finance Director providing in depth insight to support decision making across the business. To be considered you must possess good people skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders right across the business including interaction & participation with several high value projects. On Offer The role of Management Accountant will offer a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 plus a competitive benefits package. The offices premises are based in Livingston and accessible via public transport, furthermore parking facilitates will also be available. You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties: Production of monthly reporting packing including ability to explain & challenge variances Maintaining fixed asset register. KPI Reporting (Preparation and analysis) Preparing rolling cash flow forecasts Assisting with budgeting & forecasting Costing analysis including stock, labour, pricing & margins Finance business partnering including working with non-financial stakeholders Assisting with systems & process improvement to include oversight of Accounts payable function. Preparation of company VAT Return Assisting with the processing of Payroll Assisting FD with year end and preparation of Annual budget. To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience: Qualified accountant or Part Qualified Finalist Proactive self-starter with proven ability to problem solve complex issues. Excellent communicator with strong team building skills. Ability to coordinate both internal and external teams.
