Overview
We work in an industry dominated by buzzwords. One of the current crop getting plenty of airtime is "Digital Transformation", but there seems to be two camps, those labelling their project as one to lure you in, and those who are actually getting on with it. Fortunately for you, we only work with the latter. Our client have built a reputation for ensuring top level buy in. This allows them to implement change throughout both the business and the process, giving you the freedom to make the decisions you need to push the project forward. You experience building platforms in AWS will be essential to this one. Having managed AWS estates and built infrastructure as code using either Terraform or Cloudformation, you'll bring this expertise to client site, allowing you the best opportunity to resolve their issues and implement the best solution moving forward. Similarly, you'll need to have plenty of experience building Pipelines, CI/CD and any configuration management experience with Puppet, Ansible or chef would be a bonus. There is also every opportunity to learn new skills. There is often a disconnect between employers asking for Kubernetes experience and allowing you the opportunity to learn those skills. This role will allow you to bridge that gap. Everyone is given a 5-day bootcamp to get them up to speed and there will be plenty of opportunity to learn new skills.
