Principal Engineer Work from Home with occasional travel to Edinburgh and Glasgow 3 Month Initial Contract £280/day inside IR35 Our Public Sector client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Principal Engineer to join a 3 month initial contract. Responsibilities Application Development on Azure Platform Automation and DevOps on Azure Technical leadership in architecture, development and deployment of Azure based solutions Develop IP, best practices and knowledge assets to be re-usable and shared across community Embed DevOps practices and automation into delivery Actively contribute to a culture of high performance, innovation and continuous improvement. Education and Experience Hands on experience in developing and deploying enterprise solutions, with Microsoft technology stack preferred Hands on experience in designing and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure platform Experience with public cloud platforms, including design and implementation Appropriate certifications in Azure and associated technologies (desirable) General Requirements Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, including understanding their capabilities and limitations and being able to architect and deliver solutions leveraging various Azure platform services Experience in implementing applications using cloud platforms Experienced in working in agile/devops environment with continuous integration and continuous deployment and application lifecycle management Experience working with the following toolsets (or similar) Jenkins Gitlab Terraform Windows Server Should this position be of interest please submit your CV and I will be in contact by telephone as required.
