Overview

We are currently working exclusively with a leading SaaS company whose products are used by some of the most recognisable brands globally. There office is commutable from Derby, Nottingham areas. They have recently hired some key players in C-level roles and they're driving this as they know tech is the answer to success. They are looking for an Engineering Manager/Head of Engineering to come in and lead 3 Agile teams. You will be responsible for guiding the team towards modern ways of working including Microservices, Cloud and DevOps. The tech is traditionally C#/.NET based so any experience with this would be great but they are happy to consider people from a variety of backgrounds. As a leader you will be responsible for embedding best-practices into software engineering, looking at ways to drive efficiency and embedding Agile best practices. You will also be a leader who can get the best out of their team - generating a positive working culture, raising standards and ensuring everyone is the best they can be. Your role will also work with the Senior leadership team and ultimately contribute to making the business the best possible version it can be. They are happy to consider a Development Manager looking for the next step, or an Engineering Manager/Head of Engineering looking for something far more interesting and rewarding. This role would be suitable for someone who wants to work for a company that has the excitement of a start-up but the security and backing of a business that has operated successfully for a number of years.
