Overview

Control & Instrumentation Support Technician Responsibilities of the Control & Instrumentation Support Technician: Handle the day to day requirements of the customer with respect to the supplied system Perform system troubleshooting for software at the application level and hardware to assembly level Perform required system hardware maintenance Perform system calibration Ensure that all system drawings are at the correct revision level and are controlled in accordance with the quality system Ensure that all system wiring is maintained to the correct standard Ensure traceability of the hardware inventory and hardware configuration control Suggest preventative actions, create workarounds and provide solutions to system problems Suggest improvements to products, processes and environmental aspects Comply with company procedures Qualifications of the Control & Instrumentation Support Technician Engineering Degree/HND in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or relevant experience considered Additional Information of the Control & Instrumentation Support Technician 5-week shift pattern consisting of a week of nights, a week of evenings, a week of days - flexitime a week of mornings, a week off and then rotating.
