Overview

We are looking for a Software Support Engineer to work on the development of our software, assist in the day to day support for our end users and clients, and assist our engineering team on their work. Responsibilities of the Software Support Engineer: Producing client profile packs for new and existing clients. Using SQL Server for querying client data and producing profile pack updates. Software development of our software. Answering client support queries, both over the phone and by email. Assisting service engineers with issues. Assisting senior developers with development tasks. Testing software across multiple platforms. Candidate Requirements: Education to degree level in a software development or computer science related subject. Visual Studio 2017 / 2019. C# WPF. • Net4 and above. XML. Microsoft SQL Server 2008r2 and above. Proficient in T-SQL. Any of the following would be welcomed, but are not required: MVC and above. HTML / CSS / JavaScript. • Net Core. Windows IoT Embedded. Web API 2. Personal Attributes: Excellent communication, both written and verbal (both face-to-face and by phone). Personable, able to get along with team members and customers. Articulate and a clear-thinker. Team player. Able to research to gain knowledge or answers to technical questions.
