New opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join an award-winning Building Services Engineering consultancy on an initial 3 month contract basis in Croydon. Our client cover sectors including commercial, residential, public sector, leisure and hotel schemes. As the selected Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: Managing a range of projects with a focus on Public Sector and Commercial schemes Leading the design of electrical building services systems Providing technical support Working in a client facing role and helping to develop new business Developing appropriate building energy and sustainability strategies for buildings Collaborate with Architects and other teams involved within the design process Liaise with clients and other external team members Essential skills, experience and attributes: Chartered status through CIBSE, IET, or other relevant body and degree qualified A demonstrable track record of delivering projects within an electrical services engineering role, with a specific focus on Public Sector and Commercial schemes Knowledge of relevant design tools including Revit and BIM Experience with software including Amtech, Dialux and StrikeRisk Proven experience working in a client facing role Good knowledge of lighting design, and energy performance of buildings.
