Overview
Quality Engineer 4 Month Contract My Client is an engineering manufacture based in Basingstoke specialising in an electromechanical product, seeking a Quality Engineer to join the team on a 4 month contract. Main duties for the Quality Engineer will be: Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards Manage customer complaints & non-conformances ensuring that immediate & preventative actions are implemented through root cause analysis Maintain the Quality Management System to ensure continued compliance to ISO9001 and other certificates (WQA/NSF) and leading the internal audits Experience and skills needed to be the successful Quality Engineer: Experience in Quality Tools such as Problem solving, 5S, VSM, Visual Management, Kaizen, 8D will be an advantage Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure mode and effect Analysis (FMEA) would be advantage but not essential You will be experienced in auditing both products and processes You will be a strong engineer with a working knowledge of ISO9001 with the ability to interpret drawings, routings, Bills of Materials & procedures To find out more APPLY NOW or submit your CV directly to Orion Electrotech Ltd acts as both an Employment Business and Employment Agency and complies with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations Act 2003.
