Overview

Position: Deputy Manager Location: Wrexham Salary: £21ph Shifts: 36 hours This care home is a 65 bedded purpose built Care Home providing care primarily to older people with a diagnosis of Dementia however we also offer care & support for individual's with Schizophrenia, Parkinson’s and those requiring end of life care. They cater for a wide range of cultural groups including many South African and Indian cultures, and in particular for clients whose first language is Welsh, in addition to providing mainly for clients whose culture is British. What the role involves: • Support and deputise for the Home Manager in their absence • Assist the delegation of workloads and nursing resources • Ensure accurate care records are kept and incidents/accidents are reported in accordance to the company policy • Promote and maintain a high standard of nursing care • To ensure effective induction of all staff, together with supervision of trained staff, as well as providing mentorship, assessment and induction of new care staff • Conform to the latest guidelines and maintain the highest levels of care governance whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures What you’ll need: • Valid Nursing PIN (RMN/RGN) • 2 years’ experience working in a nursing home If this opportunity interests you, and you believe that you’ve got what it takes to be a successful candidate, I would be more than happy to arrange a conversation with you to discuss this further.
