Overview

Our client, a major food production company in Leeds, are looking for an Assistant Quality Manager - Compliance. This is a crucial role for the business, managing the technical support function for product launches, ensuring systems adhere to customer and legislative requirements and ensuring the business is prepared for changes to legislation for raw materials. Successful candidates will be technically experienced and qualified, with a background in raw material approval, risk assessment, supplier approval and artwork approval. Key responsibilities for the Assistant Quality Manager include Working with the Technical Compliance team to expand knowledge through a communication and support ethos Attend customer benchmarking sessions Maintain business export guide (EU, USA, Australia and Canada) Manage RSPO, Soy and Cocoa reporting systems and site audits Manage site production visits Manage the business nutritional surveillance programme The Assistant Quality Manager role salary will be £30,000 and this is a 40 hrs per week role.
