Overview
The Company: Nigel Wright are delighted to be working in partnership with a food manufacturing business who are looking for a Specifications Technologist. The Role: You will liaise with process, technical, NPD, commercial teams and suppliers, to create, maintain and update accurate product specifications. You will write product and raw materials specifications on both web based and internal systems as well as coordinate / distribute the artwork for checking within the given timescales. Evaluation of new raw materials, ensuring compliance Maintenance & updating of internal & retailer product specifications Produce and maintain quality attribute sheets for all retail products The Person: You will have previous/current experience as a food specification technologist Be self-motivated, flexible and enthusiastic Previous exprience in food is essential Strong IT skills including using both internal and retail specification systems Ideally you will hold a food science/technology degree or equivalent
