Overview
I am working with a leading global FMCG organisation who are looking for a Supply Chain Accountant for a contract position within their Maidenhead office. On offer is a particularly interesting and challenging assignment which represents a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied role centred around accounting, finance business partnering and analysis. Whilst you will be operating in an environment that is more akin to an SME, you will have the added advantage of using your experience to provide insight and influence a range of stakeholders within an exciting large global organisation. Your new assignment will be primarily concerned with the delivery of accurate on time accounting of business transactions and the delivery of period end reporting and will consist of the following duties:- Accounting responsibilities for stock, logistics and co-packing Month end activities including accruals, stock provisions and posting journals Balance sheet reconciliations Stock Accounting and stock provisions Profit and loss analysis Intrastat returns Finance business partnering controlling advertising and promotions spend Being business partner for a segment of the business and attending activity meetings to represent Finance Forecasting logistics and analysing year to date performance My client is looking for a candidate with proven and highly developed skills and experience in the below areas;- Strong business partnering skills and the ability to build internal relationships The ability to analyse complex information and present it Proven accounting ability to manage a rapid month end close If you are coming to the end of a current contract or permanent position or are immediately available and have demonstrable skills and experience, please apply today to discuss this excellent opportunity further.
