Overview
HGV Technician Location: Lincoln Salary: up to £28,000 OTE Branch Incentive Scheme Excellent Benefit Package Contract: Full time Rotating Earlies / Late Shift: Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:30 | 13:30 to 22:00 My client, a well established commercial vehicle Manufacturer with large depots across the country is actively seeking to employ a number of skilled and experienced HGV Technicians. Working solely on heavy commercial vehicles as part of a team of highly skilled HGV Technicians, you will be required to take care of running defects, carry out routine servicing, maintenance, light welding (MIG) and MOT preparation / presentation. The successful HGV Technician will be time served with industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ). A class 1 driving licence would be an advantage but not essential. Hours of work are Monday - Friday, One in Two weeks you will be required to work Saturday morning, for this you will be paid an overtime rate of time half. Currently the HGV Technician teams are working 1.5 hours over time per day. The successful applicant can expect to earn up to £28,000 as a base and with generous overtime payments the successful HGV Technician will earn £33k.
