LGV / HGV Driver

Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps Lincoln are now recruiting several LGV/ HGV 1 Driver to work on nights. You will be working for a local haulage company specialising in refrigerated deliveries for an ongoing contract. This work involves driving a refrigerated unit and making one drop to a distribution centre, there may on occasion be a collection on the way back. No Handball or multidrop required. As a LGV/ HGV 1 Driver your duties will include: • Trunking runs to RDC's across the country. • No handballing off the truck is involved with this role. • Ensuring loads are safely secure. To be a successful LGV/ HGV 1 Driver you will have the following skills and experience: • Currently a professional Driver in possession of a digital tachograph. • CPC qualification card. • A driving licence free of endorsements such as DD's, DR's or IN10s. You will be working nights Saturday and Sunday between 18.00 and 21.00 each day. In return, the LGV/ HGV 1 Driver will receive a rate of £180 for both Saturday and (average shift 10 hrs) all breaks to be paid on this contract.
