Market competitive base salary and other benefits Central Leeds Ref: L10939 Our client is a specialist UK division of a European manufacturing group operating from a number of sites and supplying a broad technical product range primarily to the construction sector. This is a new role which is focused on maintaining and developing next generation in-house web and digital applications for the Division. Broad scope will be given and this is an excellent permanent career position as opposed to a short term contract role and it offers very real career development prospects. Initially you will be on a steep learning curve to understand in-house current applications, web and software requirements. You will also be working with colleagues internally and third party providers in order to improve data accuracy, processes and reporting. You will maintain both in-house web and software developments working with your end users to ensure that the business needs are fully supported and in addition you will proactively support the development of new web based applications. You will engage in user training and also maintain security and data integrity. This is a rare career opportunity for a fairly recently qualified graduate who has a good degree in computer sciences and proven software development skills. You will be a member of a small eCommerce team who will support and provide direction. You will need the following: VB.NET and PHP developer skills MySQL and/or SQL database skills Additionally and desirable: Knowledge of languages - HTML5 / CSS / Actionscript 3 / Javascript Knowledge of programs – Adobe Flash, Adobe – any graphic editor The client is keen to appoint an ambitious, driven, hungry-for-success, good communicator with self- believe who wants to build their career in a progressive manufacturing environment such as this.
