Overview
An exciting and rather unique opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, highly motivated and commercially astute corporate finance professional to join a large city-based accountancy practice. This is a newly created role and a key appointment with a client looking to raise awareness and increase market share in the north west of England. Reporting to the Partner, the primary focus of this exciting opportunity is to take an active role in the growth and development of the department. This involves taking an active role in both lead advisory activities and transaction services. Key duties include meeting clients and networking, managing finance due diligence projects from planning to completion, writing and finalising due diligence reports, performing analysis and providing commercial insight into a range of transactions and reviewing & providing insight into financial models. This is in the capacity of a right-hand person to the corporate finance partner. In time, the client anticipates that you will build a lead a robust corporate finance team and become a senior decision maker in the business. The successful candidate must have a solid background in either transactional services or lead advisory and may be looking to progress from an Executive into a Manager. You must be well presented, highly articulate, results focused, hardworking, versatile with a 'hands-on’ approach. Excellent presentation and communication skills are a must.
