Overview

Our client based near Fakenham are looking for two Sack Plant Operatives with valid Counterbalance Forklift licences to join their busy team in the bagging department. You will have your own transport and be willing to work on rotating shift pattern (see below for details) Previous experience of working in a busy warehouses would be an advantage and you must be prepared to split your working time 50/50 with forklift duties. Heavy lifting will be required (up to approx 25Kg) Pay Rate: £9.45 Overtime paid at x1.5 and x2. This is a Temp to Perm role after 12 weeks Start Times: Rotating Shifts 06.00 to 14.00 14.00 to 22.00 07.00 to 16.00 Main Duties: • FLT operations to move stock between production and warehouse, and loading of vehicles • Use of site stock control label and scanning PDA system • Picking of stock to orders for dispatch • Completion of records, reporting maintenance and safety issues • Hygiene duties, aiding production departments as required • Driving of tractor unit to transfer malt stock between warehouse The Ideal Candidate: • Will hold a valid FLT Certificate • Good attention to a detail • Work equally effectively in a team environment and on their own • Will have good communication skills • Experience of a warehouse/picking and dispatch role would be desirable How to apply: • Apply online now or, • Call Norwich Industrial Team on or, • Email your CV to
