Overview
CNC Miller GBP12-GBP16 per hour 40 hours per week 8:00am - 4:30pm Mon-Fri Overtime available Orpington We are working with a well established manufacturing company and they are looking for an CNC Miller to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in a production environment, be able to fully understand all aspects of engineering drawings, production methods and be fully conversant with Edgecam & Fanuc. Mazak experience would also be an advantage but not essential. Applicants must have experience of all aspects of setting and operating CNC machining centres including reading and fully understanding engineering drawings and the use of precision measuring equipment. Programing experience would advantageous as we would be willing to train the right applicant to improve their programming skills. Applicants should have: · An excellent attitude in their work ethics. · Confidently navigate Fanuc CNC controls. · Experience of using Tool presetters · Having a good eye for detail. · Enjoy working in a fast paced environment · Be able to work on your own initiative as well as being part of a team. You will also have experience in: · Altering of tool & wear offsets. · Keeping a clean and safe working area and understanding all aspects of Health and Safety within the workshop. Duties will also include: - · Operation of CNC Machining Centres and Lathes. · Measuring of component parts as they are produced. · Keeping work area clean and tidy.
