Overview
The RAMS process is one of the biggest pain points in the industry, and done incorrectly can have life-changing or fatal consequences. We are working with a small SaaS company offering to change the industry and making it safer for all. Built as a web app, the software will revolutionise high risk industries and keep work forces safe. They've been around for 7 years, have built a product thousands of customers love, with a focus on an exceptional user experience. The role: They're looking for a full-stack Rails and React developer to help them continue to build an amazing product. The whole team (15 people) is based in Shoreditch, London, 5 of which are developers. They have a collaborative development culture. They work closely together (including code reviews and pair programming), supporting each other to produce the best possible codebase and become better developers along the way. They take pride in the work and always strive to deliver an exceptional experience for the customers. They deliver big features, while mindful of performance, scalability, security, testing and technical debt, and take opportunities to refactor where possible. They strive to continually improve knowledge and approach with open communication, curiosity, humbleness and mindfulness of others within the team. Our tech stack Frontend: SCSS, ES6 & React Backend: Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Resque Deployment: Heroku, AWS S3 & Cloudfront Testing frameworks: RSpec, Jest, Enzyme. Requirements Extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (ES6) and cross-browser compatibility Strong software development fundamentals, with experience in Ruby on Rails SQL based database design principles to ensure integrity and scalability Working as part of an agile team Experience with TDD software development process This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89763093
