M&E Autocad Technician Salford Salary £18,000 - £21,000 Job Ref: 20575 An outstanding opportunity in Salford for a design and build contractor looking for a M&E Autocad Technician to work in the Building Services sector. Preferably, with previous Building Services experience behind you already, you will have experience of 2D AutoCAD layouts and schematics and also possibly done some 3D modelling using either AutoCAD or Revit MEP. If you have not got any Revit MEP experience then full training will be given as part of this role and the use of Revit is minimal so it is not essential that you carry this skillset. You will be working in Salford as a Junior Autocad Technician on a selection of legacy projects from the last 2 to 3 years, new work that comes in on a reactive basis, quality assurance and also drawing registers. This design and build contractor has moved away from the traditional hands on contractor design to more of a management approach and oversee the work sitting between the main contractor and the consultant. The schemes that are currently being done are Public, Commercial, Education, Industrial and Residential projects. You will be working within a team of engineers and an existing CAD department who will help you through the initial transition in the role. This role is open to a M&E Autocad Technician or a candidate who already carries experience in the role. You will need some qualifications in the Building Services industry and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of mark ups, schematics and Building Services drawings.
