Site Support Technician – Construction sector £30,000 - £35,000 basic bonus, Company car, fuel card, laptop, mobile, pension Excellent opportunity to work for this well established supplier of technical building products to the construction industry. Your main responsibility, after full product training and Company induction, will be providing on site technical support (post sales) to contractors including training, inspection, application support as well as training and auditing concrete batch plant staff. You will be fully trained to provide detailed, project specific, expert technical advice for all customers using the products. Liaising closely with the external salesteam you will be fully aware of the needs of existing and upcoming projects in order for you to plan your diary, take ownership of the projects and communicate effectively with the customers. The vast majority of projects (70%) are based inner M25 although this role could involve UK travel to sites e.g. in Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years experience in the construction sector, concrete knowledge desirable. Relevant site experience, dealing with contractors would be beneficial together with the ability to understand technical concepts and principles in building construction. Your background could be as a construction project/contract manager or site manager or from technical support role with a concrete supplier. You should be organised, task orientated with good time management skills.
