Science Teacher - Harrow - September 2020 TLTP are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Science Teacher with a real passion for their subject. The Science Department is supportive and successful and runs an extensive programme of specialist activities. Science A Levels are extremely popular in our Sixth Form and the ability to teach Chemistry to A Level is essential. The post is suitable for either an NQT or a more experienced teacher. Applicants should be keenly interested in how children learn, as well as committed to equal opportunities and a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. Science Teacher - Role: Plan, deliver and run lessons science for KS4 - KS5 Prepare students for both GCSE, AS & A2 level exams Run extracurricular clubs Become an integral part of a thriving science department Science Teacher - Person Specification: QTS / PGCE 1st o 2:1 science related degree Good to Outstanding teacher observation grades Strong classroom management Passion for science and STEM subjects All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including a satisfactory Enhanced criminal records with Barred List check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
