An exciting and dynamic opportunity has appeared for a Senior Accountant who enjoys a busy environment and is looking for a role where you are responsible for a portfolio of clients as well as supervising and reviewing a team of more junior staff members. My client is a listed medium size accountancy practice based in the beautiful Epping Forest District. The client base is constantly growing and includes industries such as property, charity and educational institutions. They provide full accounting, strategy, insolvency and corporate finance services for their clients. Duties of a Senior Accountant role: Preparing Statutory Accounts for a mixed portfolio of clients Being the first point of contact for the clients Working closely with an Outsourcing team - reviewing their work and supervising adjustments Providing feedback and training to the Outsourcing team Working with the team towards all deadlines - liaising with an outsource team to ensure a smooth workflow Competitive Benefits Package: Gym membership Pension Flexitime Charity events Social activities Parking 25 days holidays (increasing to 27) Bank holidays Requirements for the role of a Senior Accountant: First Class communication skills Confidence in your ability to liaise with clients ACA/ACCA Qualified or QBE Minimum 3 years of Accountancy Practice experience Experience in producing Management and Statutory Accounts Senior Accountant £40,000 - £47,000 per annum East London
